12-15-06 -- 2nd Annual PRI Sprint & Midget Classic

Orlando, FL - The Wagner Racing Team made their first visit to the Orlando Speed World for the 2nd annual PRI Sprint & Midget Classic. Brandon Wagner got locked into the field by qualifying in the 13th position. Nick Wagner experienced some engine trouble and qualified in the 34th position. Nick Wagner then had to run a B main, but failed to make the transfer spot by one position. Brandon Started from the 13th position and ended up finishing with a top 10. The event was won by Ron Gregory.
 

06-14-06 -- Brandon Wagner Wins "Ryan Newman Night" USAC Midget Race at South Bend Motor Speedway

SOUTH BEND, IN - Brandon Wagner scored his first USAC Midget win tonight at South Bend Motor Speedway.  Over 3,000 fans were in attendance for the race, mostly to see NASCAR star Ryan Newman compete in the Midget division where he honed his skills as a youth.  Wagner took the lead from Tate Martz on lap 14 of the event and led Bryan Clauson and Bobby Santos to the line in a photo finish.  Ryan Newman finished 9th after qualifying 4th in time trials.  Nick Wagner finished 6th in the evening's semi-feature.  The Wagner Racing Team will compete on Saturday, June 17, at Grundy County Speedway, Morris, IL.
 

05-28-06 --  Outdoor Channel To Televise "Night Before The 500" - Wagner Car Carries On Board Camera

LAFAYETTE, IN - The Wagner Racing Team cars can be seen competing in the Night Before The 500 race on Saturday, June 3rd, at 5pm (EST) on the Outdoor Channel.  Wagner Racing Team driver, Michael Lewis, carried an on-board camera during the evening of racing and will provide the broadcast with some exciting wheel-to-wheel views of the on track action.  Again, Saturday evening, June 3, 5pm (EST) on The Outdoor Channel.
 

05-27-06 --  4th & 18th For Lewis And Wagner At IRP's Night Before The 500 Race

CLERMONT, IN - Bobby Santos won the "Night Before The 500" race at IRP, with Wagner Racing's Michael Lewis finishing 4th.  Lewis qualified 8th and raced his way into the feature by winning the evening's second semi-feature race over the Toyota machines driven by Dave Darland and David Steele.  Brandon Wagner drove a fantastic race, moving from 17th in the 1st semi-feature to log an 8th place finish, which qualified him for his first start in the "Night Before The 500".  Wagner later finished 18th in the evening's feature race.  The next event for Wagner Racing is Saturday night, June 3, at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois.
 

05-20-06 --  12th Place Finish For Michael Lewis In Debut For Wagner Racing Team in North Carolina

CONCORD, NC - Michael Lewis drove Wagner Racing's #93 USAC Midget entry to a 12th place finish at the Concord Motorsports Park in Concord, NC.  Brandon Wagner also competed in the event, but failed to make the feature following a 12th place finish in the evening's semi-feature.  Nick Wagner did not compete, but will return to the cockpit on June 3rd at Grundy County Speedway.  The next event for Wagner Racing is May 27th at Indianapolis Raceway Park for the famed "Night Before The 500" race.
 

05-07-06 --  4th & 5th Place Feature Finish For Wagner Brothers at USAC Columbus Event

COLUMBUS, OH - Brandon and Nick Wagner finished 4th and 5th, respectively, in the USAC Regional Midget Series Championship race at Columbus Motor Speedway today.  Brandon Wagner, in the Lucas Oil #92 machine broke the track record in qualifying and placed 3rd in time trial standings behind pole sitter, and new track record holder Bryan Clauson.  Nick Wagner qualified with the event's 5th fastest time.  The feature race was won by Teddy Beach of Donnelsville, Ohio, with Bryan Clauson 2nd, Richie Jacobs 3rd, Brandon Wagner 4th and Nick Wagner 5th.  The Wagner's next event will be the UMARA opener at Morris (IL) Grundy County Speedway.
 

05-02-06 --  Wagner Racing will compete at Columbus (OH) Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 7th.

LAFAYETTE, IN - The Wagner Racing Team will compete at the Columbus Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 7th, as part of the USAC Regional Midget Series.
 

04-29-06 --  Wagner's compete in USAC opener at Mansfield (OH) Speedway

MANSFIELD, OH - Nick and Brandon Wagner competed in the opening round of USAC's Regional Midget Series at Ohio's Mansfield Speedway.  The fast 1/2 mile course saw Brandon Wagner qualify his Lucas Oil sponsored Beast Esslinger Midget in the 4th fast slot, while Nick Wagner tabbed the 12th fastest circuit.  Brandon Wagner finished 4th in the evening's Feature race, while Nick suffered engine problems and failed to start the main race.  The event was won by Stephanie Mockler of Indianapolis.
